Colenso BBDO welcomes new Group Creative Director

Duncan Bone joins Colenso BBDO’s Creative Department as Group Creative Director after six months of waiting for the borders to open.

In this role, Bone will work in partnership with Hadleigh Sinclair.

Si Vicars, CCO Colenso BBDO, says he is a “hugely experienced creative director, with innovation and tech in his blood”.

“He makes smart things and beautiful things. I’m so excited to have him with us, and excited for our clients to have his skill set at their disposal.”

Originally from the island of Malta, Bone moved to London in 2000. There he built his career working with some of the world’s leading agencies, including Wieden & Kennedy, BBH, and 72 and Sunny. This led to working with some of the most reputable brands and clients in the UK, Europe and internationally.

In 2019 he moved to Beijing to lead the BMW China account and later joined W+K Shanghai. Bone has established himself as a multi-disciplinary creative director with a degree in Industrial Design.

His work covers traditional advertising, digital innovation, design and art direction, photography and film, and has spanned clients from Dior to BMW, The Barbican Museum, Garage Magazine, Adidas, Nike, and many more. His work has picked up metal at shows from Cannes and D&AD, to an Interactive Bafta.
