Chemistry powers first major brand campaign for Powerco

Dual energy distributor Powerco has launched its first large-scale brand campaign with Chemistry.

The campaign features the line, “Here at Powerco, we do our bit, so you can keep doing yours.” It spotlights real workers and locations that keep energy flowing across the lower North Island.

Energy plays a crucial part in everyday life. Yet the infrastructure – and the people behind it – often remain invisible, says Chemistry. The campaign aims to shift that perception. It does this by raising brand awareness and positioning Powerco as a quiet, unseen force that works hard to ensure customers’ lives run smoothly.

The moments that matter

Filmed on live worksites, the campaign centres around Powerco technicians, contractors and project managers, working alongside everyday Kiwis.

Chemistry creative Amelia Petrovich says: “Shooting at local restaurants, businesses and workplaces within the Taranaki region across two days was a massive collaboration. It’s been really rewarding to see the story come to life.”

Chemistry says its creative captures the vital, overlooked role that Powerco plays in its communities.

This includes morning cups of tea and evenings in front of the fireplace, charging company EVs and firing up the hob at the neighbourhood eatery.

The campaign is now live on social, digital, and online channels.
