Samsung’s space balls

The All Blacks generally get a few views when they’re wheeled out by the sponsors. But it’s small fry compared to football stars. And Samsung’s got a galaxy of them for its latest campaign.

With the World Cup kicking off next month, sponsors are frothing at the mouth trying to get attention. And Samsung’s nailed it with the “fantasy-inspired and multi-layered” Galaxy 11 campaign, which features a bunch of international players like Lionel Messi, Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo being taken into space and put through their paces. So far the four-minute clip has been watched 23 million times.

Let’s hope none of them use their iPhones to Tweet.
