Advertising photographer Sacha Stejko joins Loupe

Auckland-based artist management and production company Loupe Agency has signed advertising photographer Sacha Stejko to its roster.

Stejko was born in Ukraine and raised in Aotearoa. She brings a background in theatre that informs her instinct for timing, movement and performance. Her images are grounded in people, with a particular strength in capturing sports in a way that feels both dynamic and considered.

Drawn to connections

On set, she’s known for building trust quickly and directing with a light touch. This allows moments to unfold without overworking them. That same approach extends naturally into her motion work.

“Photography feels like a natural extension of who I am. I’m drawn to the connection with people and how their stories come through,” says Stejko.

Her work has been recognised internationally, including selection in Lürzer’s Archive’s 200 Best Advertising Photographers Worldwide, alongside accolades from the International Photography Awards and Communication Arts.

A natural fit

Alongside brands like Adidas, Samsung, Bose, FIFA and Fonterra, Stejko worked on the 2degrees’ Support Her campaign, focused on supporting young girls in sport.

“I’ve worked on many incredible projects, but ‘Support Her’ has been especially meaningful, creating images that highlight and inspire young girls in sport.”

Loupe founder and executive producer Emily Moon says the signing felt like a natural fit.

“Sacha is a fantastic artist, she brings a fresh energy to the team and there’s a good alignment in how we work. I’ve been following her for a while and the timing felt right for both of us. It’s awesome to have her on board and I look forward to creating beautiful work together.”
