Us&Co closes down as founders part ways

StopPress can confirm digital agency Us&Co has closed, with both its website and Facebook page no longer accessible.

Founder James Polhill says it was time to move on to bigger things so they mutually decided to part ways at the back-end of last year and close the doors to what had become a very successful business.

"I'll continue to operate from our Britomart loft and have surrounded myself with close industry friends, great talent and a long list of very loyal clients. We're already creating great work and winning new business so it will no doubt be an exciting year ahead. I wish Jose all the best with his future endeavours," he says.

He wouldn’t confirm or deny speculation that the clients have been divided up between the founders.

He also says he will continue to focus efforts into building the influencer marketing platform, Populr, for which he's now a majority shareholder and sole director.

The service is designed to easily connect brands with suitable influencers across the fragmented digital landscape.

Polhill and Jose Alomajan founded the agency in 2012 and they went on to achieve double-digit year-on-year growth.

The agency’s work often demonstrated strong digital nous, as illustrated in campaigns for F. Whitlock & Sons and Movember in recent years.
