Our media spending heavyweights have continued their dominance for the past three years, reflecting strength in supermarkets and retail, according to Nielsen figures. However, telco seems to be gathering force with Telecom ranking fourth and Vodafone sneaking into the top 10.
Following on from last week’s story about Fairfax Media halving agency commission, it has sent out a release detailing the changes to its business model and its effect on customers. And it’s also announced some changes to its sponsorship programme by aligning itself with Spikes Asia rather than Cannes Lions.
TVNZ has released its ratecard for the July – September 2010 period, with TV ONE rates rising by two percent and TV2 up six percent on the back of improved numbers. But not everyone appears to be on the same optimistic page as the national broadcaster, if the apparent stoush with media agency OMD is anything to go by.
