PlayStation is breaking down the stereotype that gamers are slothful, motivation lacking humans in a new ‘Greatness Awaits’ campaign featuring a two minute epic brand film, The King.
Set to a haunting choir version of Eurythmics Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This), the video tells the story of a bored medieval monarch who goes in search of fulfillment. What he finds is an epic adventure with the characters and creatures of PlayStation’s biggest games. Through his journey, PlayStation hopes to inspire fans to keep exploring the exciting worlds.
A shorter, 60-second spot also delivers inspiration, by placing the King in a different set of PlayStation games. It also incudes a link to PlayStation’s website to show audiences the different worlds they can explore in its games.
