Every year, November’s arrival coincides with the prickly appearance of overgrown upper-lip hair. And just when you thought Movember couldn’t get any quirkier than handlebar and horseshoe moustaches, the people at Pie Face have taken it one step further by introducing Kiwis to the ‘mo and mushroom’ pie.
Moving away from their standard, clean-shaven pastry visages, Pie Face has added a cartoonish moustache to their pies in an effort to help raise funds for men with health issues.
For the month of November, the pies will be available at two Auckland locations for $5,90, of which $1 will be donated to a men’s charity.
