Lotto NZ, via DDB Group Aotearoa, has introduced ‘Local Grants,’ the next stage in the evolution of Lotto’s Kiwis Helping Kiwis initiative, which aims to showcase that every cent of Lotto NZ’s profits is dedicated to assisting community groups across Aotearoa.
The Local Grants campaign follows former Lotto presenter Grant Kereama up and down the country as he trumpets the iconic winning ticket sound – showing how every time you play any Lotto NZ game, New Zealand wins.
Leah Neilson, Head of Brand and Creative at Lotto NZ says: “We wanted this Local Grants campaign to highlight our grant recipients’ stories in a beautiful way. We’re celebrating these people so Lotto NZ players can see the meaningful difference they’re making, and to remember that all profits go back to the community.”
Rory McKechnie, Executive Creative Director at DDB Group Aotearoa adds: “Showing the breadth of grants across New Zealand, and making sure players feel proud of the contribution they’re making to local communities was our key objective for this campaign – and that’s exactly what we’ve delivered.”
This is an integrated campaign launching with a 30” spot appearing across social, digital, outdoor and TV.
