Energy Online brings a new meaning to speeding up customer service

Energy Online and Contagion got a bit of attention a few weeks back for a stunt that involved a particularly frightening doorknob. And to show that customers can sign up in under five minutes, it’s gone full bogan and helped one brave customer sign up.

Featuring drift champion Darren Kelly, the ad aims to get across the speedy sign-up process by having him spell out his passenger’s name on the tarmac after taking her for a scary ride through a timber yard.

Not bad. But as far as bum-clenching surprise automotive experiences, you can’t beat Jeff Gordon’s test drive series with Pepsi Max.

And if you’re going to do it, you could at least close down a major city like DC Shoes and Ken Block did in San Francisco.
