Crap in the tank

While some car brands have attempted to get cars running on water, Toyota has taken a different approach, proving to the public that it has a car that quite literally runs on bullshit.

The ad, for Toyota’s Mirai fuel cell vehicle was directed by Morgan Spurlock and is the first in a series titled ‘Fueled by Everything,’ which was created by Droga5 to show customers that hydrogen cars are a viable alternative to internal combustion.

During the ad, an engineer pays Ron the farmer a visit at his dairy farm where he picks up a huge load of bulls manure to take it away to be processed into hydrogen to act as a fuel for Toyota’s vehicle. And in a world still overly reliant on oil, it is promising to see car brands experiment with alternative options.
