Last Thursday night, glitz and glamour took over The Wharf in Auckland where the best in the industry gathered to celebrate the 2020 IAB New Zealand Digital Advertising Awards.
The evening – sponsored by Facebook, Google, LUMO Digital, Magnite, MediaWorks, Nielsen, TradeMe and TVNZ – brought together over 250 people to recognise and celebrate excellence in digital media and advertising across five categories: Sales and Ad-Operations, Channel Excellence, Campaign Effectiveness, Data and Effectiveness and Grand Awards.
Gill Stewart, CEO at IAB New Zealand, says it was a record year for the IAB New Zealand Digital Advertising Awards.
“Entries were well up on last year; a panel of almost 80 leading industry expert judges selected 35 winners from entries across 35 Awards in five categories, and 82 finalists.
“The record number of entries, highlighting the best of our sector through 2019 and first quarter 2020, and high calibre of judges reflects the increasing level of engagement in the Awards and IAB New Zealand.”
The 2020 Agency of the Year award was scooped by MBM and the 2020 Best in Show went to FCB New Zealand and New Zealand Aids Foundation’s ‘Down to Fornicate’.
