Verizon Media has promoted Rachel Page to General Manager, Sales of Australia and New Zealand, expanding her current national remit to include New Zealand.
In the new position Page will be responsible for the commercial and operational activities across teams in Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. She will continue to be based in Melbourne.
Page has over 25 years experience across the media and advertising industry and has held senior sales roles in TV, out of home, radio and digital at Network 10, EyeCorp, Mi9 and Pandora Radio before joining Verizon Media in 2018. Highly active in the industry, she sits on the UnLtd Melbourne Board, is part of the IAB Mentor program and hosts the Verizon Media Academy virtual masterclass series, a free industry-inclusive educational program.
Under Page’s leadership, the commercial team received a Highly Commended at the 2020 Mumbrella Awards for Sales Team of the Year and are finalists again in 2021.
The news comes just months after Managing Director Paul Sigaloff was promoted to Vice President of ANZ INSEA, expanding his leadership role into the wider APAC region. In her new role Page will continue to report to Sigaloff, and oversee New Zealand Sales Director Arnaud Calonne and Director of Operations and Technology Justin Orchard.
