AWF saves ass, but not face

Victor Hugo said “puns are the droppings of soaring wits”. But while it could be said the new ad from New Zealand labour provider Allied Work Force fits the first half of that quote, it’s doubtful it could be included it in the latter.

Conceived by the now defunct Publicis Mojo and directed by 8com’s Andy Morton, the action movie parody certainly gives ANZ’s cricket spot a run for its money in the cringe stakes. 

“I thought it was a great opportunity to ply my hand at some serious, straight down the line drama,” Morton said in a release.
