GrabOne snatches tourist traffic with new booking site

GrabOne, best known for its daily deals, is marketing itself to a new audience with a booking and information site for national travellers.

GoBook is a chance for travel merchants to get on board the platform to list and edit travel offers.

Marketing manager James Kemp says the site isn’t all about bargain travel prices.

“Customers have the best bits of New Zealand at their fingertips and merchants can easily sell their services when they have space, he says.

The company thinks its one million strong database will be fundamental to the success of new venture – GrabOne customers can use their existing login while new users can create an account.

The site launched last week with more than 300 activities in five regions – Auckland, Northland, Rotorua/Taupo, Christchurch/West Coast and Queenstown.

The activities include jetboarding, geothermal spa, kayaking and scenic flights.
