ZM covers George FM with love, banter ensues

The marcomms sector is renowned more for its competitiveness than its collegiality. But it's nice to see The Radio Network's ZM can still appreciate MediaWorks' George FM.

A story on radiotoday.com.au detailed how a new feature on ZM called 'Under The Covers', which showcases covers sung by international acts like Ellie Goulding and Katy Perry, also included a couple of local acts, two of which were recorded specifically for George FM Breakfast's 'Damn, I wish I was your cover' section (Six60's version of Rudimental's 'Feel the Love' and Tahuna Breaks' version of Daft Punk's 'Get Lucky').

Cue inter-station Facebook banter and shocking revelations that ZM host Jay Reeve is a fan of George FM.

The collaborative approach: Woods Agency's Reuben Woods on tackling the world stage from Tauranga

When Reuben and Melissa Woods started Woods Agency in their spare bedroom in Papamoa Beach back in 2004, they only had one regular client, bedroom furniture company Design Mobel. Fourteen years on, their client list spans the length of New Zealand and into the Pacific Islands. We chat with Reuben about how they built an agency that focuses on developing regional companies into world-class brands.
