Anyone who doesn't use a high-rigidity 165g competition quality disc deserves to be ridiculed. And that's exactly what Paul Henry has done in the local—and, in our humble opinion, slightly underwhelming—execution of Snickers' ''You're not you when you're hungry' campaign.
The commercial was shot by Mars' agency Colenso BBDO and Film Construction's Steve Saussey and will only run in New Zealand and Henry joins the likes of Betty White, Joe Pesci, Aretha Franklin, Liza Minnelli and Joan Collins, who have featured in commercials for the campaign in more than 56 markets.
Last year, Vodafone and FCB set out with an experiment that saw Red Bull driver Mad Mike whiz around a race track in a blacked out car, surviving only by the grace of Vodafone's 4G network. Now, the ad has been recreated in seven different countries around the world, including one that puts actor Patrick Dempsey in the driving seat.
