ASB and Universal Music Group offer fourth and final gig experience

The final note in the ASB Your Dream Gig experience has been announced with Universal Music Group New Zealand (UMG) and ASB looking for a social media expert to join Kiwi band The Naked and Famous in Los Angeles.

Your Dream Gig is part of ‘ASBmusicnz’; a partnership between ASB and UMG. It gives school-leavers the opportunity to work on creative projects with internationally-recognised Kiwi artists.

The Naked and Famous experience is the fourth and final artist-led Your Dream Gigavailable. The winner will attend the band’s acoustic show in Los Angeles on March 9 where they’ll capture and produce social media content for the band. 

The first saw student Connor O’Brien design an outfit for SACHI to wear on-stage at the Bay Dreams music festival in January. Then Sam Wright was chosen to help produce video content for David Dallas, while the third will give a Kiwi singer the chance to sing with SIX60 at their Christchurch concert in March.

ASB general manager marketing Shane Evans says ASB has been impressed with the entrants and winners so far.

“There’s some wonderful creative talent in New Zealand and we’ve been lucky enough to see a small selection of that throughout this competition.”
