In news today, Special is celebrating its haul of finalist nominations from the B&T Awards. They're up for 26 awards, 16 in the Campaign of the Year category and 10 in the Agency of the Year category. The latter includes a a nomination for Aotearoa New Zealand Agency of the Year - for the sixth consecutive year.

The Spinoff is also celebrating - latest Nielsen data shows it has the highest average session time in the country at 17.03 average engaged minutes per user in quarter 2 2025. The Spinoff CEO Amber Easby says the results are a powerful testament to the team’s commitment to creating journalism that "not only informs but genuinely captivates New Zealanders."

NZME is celebrating its journalists with a new NZ Herald campaign, News You Can Trust, which acts as an extension of previous campaign, News Worth Knowing. NZ Herald editor in chief Murray Kirkness says the campaign uncovers the stories that need to be told and keeping New Zealanders informed on the issues that affect their lives.

Phantom Billistickers has launched another fun activation for a beverage in Auckland CBD, this time for Mac's Maverick. The artwork can be seen parachuting into its poster slots on the corner of Symonds St.

There's lots more on the site: 2degrees has signed on as a foundational sponsor for the Auckland FC women's team. Meanwhile, KidsCan and Droga5 ANZ makeover Boy Walking in Auckland's Potters Park to highlight kids in need. In Movings and Shakings, TVNZ has announced Kerry Leonard as sport and enterprise partnership lead.
