New Zealand's biggest magazine publisher Are Media has just rejoined the Magazine Publishers Association with Are's general manager Stuart Dick named as the association's new chair. This follows the completion of Nick Burrowes' term, who will continue to contribute as a member of the board.
Phantom Billstickers has brought ASB's 150-year celebration to life with a major activation in central Auckland. The installation features custom-built balloon structures, a hand-painted mural and a giant version of ASB's elephant mascot, Kashin.“We love projects like this – where imagination meets craftsmanship,” says Tom Horton, marketing manager at Phantom Billstickers.
Yesterday, TVNZ announced its morning show, Breakfast, will be refreshed in 2026 with Jenny-May Clarkson is stepping down as co-host. Clarkson has been at TVNZ for two decades, beginning as a netball commentator in 2005. She has been co-hosting Breakfast since 2020.
Dish editor Sarah Tuck let out a noise "like a squeak" when she saw the first week sales figures for the magazine's Christmas issue. Sales are up 41% year on year - a stat that blew Tuck and the Dish team away. She shares that the success is a result of six years of strategy and connection with their audience.
