TVNZ has been named the free-to-air broadcast partner for Provincial Rugby, including the National Provincial Championship (NPC), selected Farah Palmer Cup (FPC) matches and the Heartland Championship Finals. This agreement is set to begin with the 2026 season. TVNZ chief executive Jodi O'Donnell says she's incredibly proud to be bringing rugby back to TVNZ after 30 years.
