Phantom Billstickers have brought the sci-fi world of the Tron franchise to life with a new campaign in Auckland. Celebrating the upcoming release of the latest film, Tron: Ares, the street media installment combines physical posters with custom 3D elements, neon lighting and striking hand-painted features.
While many still picture bus shelters when they think of street furniture, JOLT is taking the category into the future, with fast EV chargers that double as digital, data-driven, out of home panels. Country manager Chris Monaghan tells StopPress all about this new era where media meets next generation city utility.
In partnership with Colenso, Spark has released a new campaign that speaks to its brand positioning: "It's better with Spark". It starts with a young woman having phone issues to her going on an unexpected road trip in just 1/4 of a car. Kimberley Ragan, Colenso Group creative director says: “We set out to tell a story that draws people in and gets them curious about our network."
Specsavers has appointed Ogilvy PR as its new agency partner, a move that consolidates its earned communications activity across the Tasman.
Meanwhile, there have been some movings and shakings across the sector. Recently merged MintHC has boosted its leadership with Roger Capon as new general manager and Mike Hutcheson joining as a board member. Kantar has appointed Jay Carlsen in the newly created role of group account director – public sector. At Bastion Shine, Luke Farmer has been appointed as managing director, under CEO Toby Sellers.
