We're sad to be reporting the news that Jim Wilson, founder of Phantom Billstickers, died peacefully in his sleep at the weekend. A seasoned billsticker himself and an advocate for music and the arts, Wilson set up the outdoor advertising company in the 1980s and ran it for over 40 years. The Phantom team are honouring his legacy and memory over the coming days. Find out more here.

In Movings and Shakings, venture studio New+Improved Ventures has appointed a new chief of staff, NZME has announced key senior appointments that include a familiar face or two and Sling & Stone has announced NZ leadership changes.

Australian music company Vinyl Group has entered a bid to acquire Val Morgan Digital for $10.5 million. Read on to see what this deal could mean for both companies.

In the world of sport, Wellington Regional Stadium is now Hnry Stadium, and Sky Sport is set to broadcast horse race The NZB on March 7.

Finally, Saatchi & Saatchi NZ have created a new campaign for the Toyota Corolla Cross, showing that the compact SUV is 'up for whatever'.

Happy reading, and if you have news you’d like to share, email us at editor@stoppress.co.nz.

Have a lovely week, we'll see you on Friday.
