Byond's Tony Collins knew his agency's campaign for NZ Cheap Cars would land well - he just never expected just how well. Over the last two months, the car dealership's video content featuring a team of three fictional staff has danced the brand to social media stardom. It's built brand awareness in a typically tough category, says Collins. Meanwhile, Stuff Digital has today announced a major deal that will see Trade Me buy in with a 50% stake. It's the first time CEO Sinead Boucher has brought in an external equity partner since her buyout in 2020.
After OOHMAA announced its plan to expand its business, it has a new CEO, Kath Mitchell, formerly general manager of IMANZ. Digital media platform Capsule is celebrating its fifth birthday by opening Capsule Collective, a fund to support freelance journalists and writers in Aotearoa.
