We always seem to be dishing out warnings for our raunchy videos (you marcomms folk are so precious) and, once again, we're heading swiftly down the slippery slope towards the lowest common denominator this week. There's gyrating, thrusting, writhing and exploding. But it's also an amazingly well-made ...

They don't call him the world's most interesting man for nothing. They call him that because he lives vicariously through himself and can speak French – in Russian. And for those who need a little bit more interestingness, he's got plenty to go around. ...

Animated genitalia! Kiwi anthem! Cunning stunt! Five second films! Chips! Warnings!

Penis graffiti and prophylactics collide head-on. Warning: animated genitalia with human characteristics and raunchy cartoon sex scenes involved (speaking of genitalia, check out this, perhaps apocryphal, tale of an Italian power company with an unfortunate name). If we ever get a new flag, surely Justin Brown ...

Cheer(leading) 'n' Chairs

There's something oddly satisfying and just  oddly odd about seeing a cheerleader getting gobbled up by what looks to be a giant red Pacman. This next one is long but well worth the watch. Contemporary furniture designers Blu Dot simply wondered, "what would happen if ...

Me has this generic news report

  • Woop
  • February 4, 2010

Charlie Brooker, the world's most cynical, entertaining and curmudgeonly man (and also an inter-racial lookalike of Matrix star Laurence Fishburne), offers this magnificent critique of television news reporting. Facts Appear In Bullet Point Form Unbelievably, this is not a South Park parody. It's an actual campaign ad for US corporate ballbreaker Carly Fiorina, who's running for California Senate next year and was chief exec of Hewlett-Packard for six years. The half man, half sheep, half devil who pops up for a visit (at 2.27 in the video) has been called the single most disturbing second in the internet's history. A promo for The Ad Show on TVNZ7, replete with billowing fabrics, sheet stroking, pool shots, doe eyes and possibly even some Vaseline on the lens.
