Retirement planning isn’t the sexiest of subjects. But AMP and Running With Scissors have added some human interest to the world of KiwiSaver schemes by conducting a psychological experiment to illustrate that a little bit of willpower now makes things all the sweeter in the future.
The humble art of extracting every last drop of New Zealand’s favourite condiment resonates with the public and is the secret sauce behind Running With Scissors’ Upside Down Bottle commercial for Wattie’s, which wins Colmar Brunton’s February Ad Impact Award.
In an effort to attract a “social, lively and stylish urban audience” to a product not usually associated with such phrases, NZ Lotteries and Running with Scissors have just launched a new range of Instant Kiwi tickets. And marketing manager Robert Saunders says it’s the biggest facelift for the tickets since it started selling them back in 1989.
They say regret is a pointless emotion, but what would ‘they’ know. So to inspire a few more Kiwis to get their ayes into gees and shake up the ‘ahhh, I’ll do it tomorrow’ attitude, AMP, Running With Scissors, DNA and Bloodhound Media have got together to launch the ‘act today, own tomorrow’ campaign.
