Ask any parent of a teenager and they’ll likely tell you their kids don’t want to be told what to do, and the approach to encouraging them on how to choose a university has traditionally been to shout so-called inspirational messages at them through a TV screen. But this year, Bauer sought to approach potential students differently, providing them with an experience instead, in the form of an activation run at Auckland City Limits on behalf of Lincoln University with its partner Nudie Jeans.

Quitline gets personal in the fight against smokes

Quitline has teamed up with Health Promotion Agency and GSL Promotus for the latest campaign in the fight against smoking. ‘I’ve been there, and how I’m here’ aims to increase the number of successful quit attempts through the Quitline service, and contribute towards New Zealand’s 2025 smokefree goal, which is an important challenge given 15 per cent of the population still smokes.

Suzuki celebrates customer satisfaction award with some inanimate lovin’

Suzuki, unlike some of its Asian car-making counterparts, hasn’t done a huge amount of local advertising and has largely relied on international material (and high profile sponsorships like 3 Sport and The Warriors). But to celebrate taking top spot in the Canstar Blue customer satisfaction award, it has created a new 30 second spot via GSL Promotus showing a bunch of New Zealanders getting it on with their cars.

GSL Promotus fights rheumatic fever for HPA campaign

It’s winter and for some people in New Zealand that means a trip to the hospital for injections or even open heart surgery, because of rheumatic fever.
GSL Promotus is behind a national Health Promotion Agency campaign to let more people know that strep throats, if left untreated, can develop into rheumatic fever in at-risk populations. The campaign involves six different TVCs, a multitude of radio ads (in English, te reo Maori, Samoan and Tongan), online videos and banners, and Adshel posters.
