The Cannes Lions festival has kicked off to a good start, with Fonterra Brands and Colenso BBDO picking up the country’s first gold Lion this year for their ‘Anchor X-Ray Casts’ campaign in the ‘Health and Wellness’ category.

The holy grail of content marketing is to create a win-win-win: something that’s good for the consumers, good for the brand and good for the ambassadors/publishers. And Fonterra Brands, Annabel Langbein and Milk reckon they’ve done just that with a new content-led campaign/’inspiration platform’ called ‘We Are What We Eat’, which aims to provide Kiwis with the tools to cook more often and more simply—and, at the same time, promote the surprisingly large benefits of getting the family around the table.
Fonterra Brands has teamed up with Colenso BBDO and TVNZ Blacksand to give Facebook fans the thrill of seeing themselves on an actual TV ad, while consuming lots of Kapiti icecream, with the help of some new technology from TVNZ.
Auckland creative agency Shine has had a pretty stellar year so far. It nabbed the RaboPlus account in May (and has recently released its first rather well-received campaign for the bank). And, while it’s been working with some of the local Fonterra Brands for a while now, it has been given a few more to play with.
