The heart-warming Paddington Bear is enough to inject some Christmas spirit into even the cruelest of hearts this year as he and a burglar spend Christmas eve delivering gifts.
When Paddington is woken by a bang on the roof, he heads out to investigate to see a burglar with a sack full of stolen gifts. However, mistaking the masked man for Santa, Paddington takes him around the houses to deliver the gifts.
At first, the burglar is unhappy to have been interrupted and forced to return the gifts, but after seeing how much happiness the gifts give, he’s had a change of heart by the end of the ad.
The Christmas ad was highly anticipated after news spread last month that Paddington was the star and in its first three days online, it’s already received nearly 3.5 million YouTube views.
Last year’s Marks & Spencer ad, featuring Mr Claus as a special gift-giver generated nearly nine million views.
