Labour's cheeky takedown of National

New leader Jacinda Ardern may have scrapped the party's 'Fresh Approach' campaign but traces of it can still be seen in its website's error 404 page.

Unlike the standard 404 error message that typically appears when you attempt to reach a blank page on a website, Labour's message takes a dig at the National Party.

"Oops! Like National's plan to fix the housing crisis, this page doesn't exist," reads the website when you visit the wrong page.

It also links through to Labour's housing plan in an effort to make the most of any undecided voters who got lost online.

Since the error page was created, screenshots of the message have made their way around the website.
