Jude Law dances with whisky

He’s certainly no Christopher Walken, but Jude Law has shown he’s got a few sweet moves in an impressive branded film for Johnnie Walker Blue Label whisky.

Law stars alongside Italian actor Giancarlo Giannini, who has a very nice boat. Law wants it. And he’s willing to cut some shapes to get it.

Shot by Jake Scott, son of Ridley, the six and a half minute film that pushes the joy of rare experiences (and so, it’s blend of it rarest whiskies) has been showing at the Venice Film Festival. And it’s set up pretty well for a few sequels.

As it says on the blurbs: “The story of a man on a quest for a rare experience; ‘The Gentleman’s Wager’ tells the story of a wager between two men which results in a truly rare experience as part of their quest for personal progress. Filmed in the British Virgin Islands and London, the beautifully shot film sees Law in the role of a man who, despite having it all, proposes a wager as an opportunity to challenge himself to create an original performance in order to win a money-can’t-buy experience.”

Speaking of actor’s spruiking booze, here’s David Duchovny endorsing a Russian beer brand. It’s already clocked up almost 3 million views.
