Eat. Play. Love.

KFC India and Mountain Dew India have teamed up to make sure gamers don’t have to pause the action to grab a bite, by creating a takeaway box that doubles as a game controller.

Called Gamer’s Box 2.0, the box features a Bluetooth controller, which appears to have been cut in half and put on either side, and a phone holder for users to stand up their games.

According to the promo video: “Gaming has ever been this finger lickin’ good.”

While the box sparked a frenzy of excitement among KFC and gaming fans, the Gamer’s Box 2.0 was not available in stores so those keen to get their hands on it were relying on a friend tagging them in the Facebook video so they could win it.

While KFC delivers the food, the partnership with Mountian Dew was a natural one for the drinks brand as it’s currently hosting Dew Arena 2.0. It’s an Indian gaming championship in which the country’s top gamers battle it out to become the champions.

KFC is not the first to combine gaming with fast food after Burger King teamed up with Sony PlayStation to deliver burgers to gamers.

It delivered those playing to request their food from within the game from pro gamers.
