Imagine a world where girls got an equal opportunity to succeed in sports? We’re not there yet but initiatives like these take us one step closer. Sport is for everyone and football truly is a global game – well down Lay’s and the various football associations for supporting this.

Down with the his-story, up her-story. Anything that rectifies the gender bias of history books with all the important women purposely forgotten is a win in our book.

This ad is the exact opposite of subtle – but that’s good. Talking about, and acknowledging, the impact of psychological violence is a hard thing to do but it needs to be done. UNICEF wants to change that.

It’s hard for some people to understand why others are so against sports involving animals. This ad makes it impossible to not confront the dark side of horse racing.

No child should have to look after the adults in their lives – and themselves. This is a powerful reminder of the huge effect addiction has on everyone around the person suffering, and how to take the first step.

The stigma surrounding HIV is still very real today, and it’s honourable for a brand like Vicks to shine a light on that – this is a true story and a powerful one.
