Home ventilation company HRV is the new sponsor of New Zealand’s Twenty20 cricket tournament. The three-year deal also heralds a new name for the competition – the HRV Cup.
Next year’s HRV Cup matches take place from January 2 to 31. With money, high profile and increased media coverage guaranteed, Black Cap players can now play in their provincial teams. Six will take part in the tournament and the winning team will earn a place in the lucrative Champions League of Twenty20 victors from around the world.
