TVCs of the Week: 7 May

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=En3Lruak-K4Who’s it for: McDonald’s by DDB NZ, Carnival Films and Waitemata Films.

Why we like it: Most chickens probably wouldn’t agree that McDonald’s new chicken range is a welcome addition to the fast food landscape. But 20 human Chickens obviously do (check out a few longer Chicken interviews here, including one with a past Chicken). And now we wait for the spot where they are all rolled in a light herb crust and fried.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8VW_Tmr7zMWho’s it for: Bradford Gold by MediaR and The Neighbourhood.

Why we like it: Salt of the Earth tradies talking knowledgeably about complex matters. A classic advertising broth. If only Lego saw this ad before including a leering construction worker on a packet of stickers.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bp_R-n-nTV4Who’s it for: Expedia by DDB Sydney and Revolver

Why we like it: While it’s not technically a Kiwi ad, director Leo Woodhead is from round these parts, the campaign is running in New Zealand and it’s a spot that shows the joy of travel.
