TVCs of the Week: 7 August

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=We8nmFlX2CUWho’s it for: Griffin’s by Assignment Group and Underpants

Why we like it: The bring back choco-ade stunt has worked its socks off for Griffin’s. And this very historically accurate spot tells the tale of how the Arab Spring of biscuits unfolded.

Who’s it for: Burger King by Colenso BBDO and Exit Films.

Why we like it: Food porn. But food porn with funk. And bacon.

Who’s it for: Tile Warehouse by Publicis Mojo and Flux

Why we like it: The Tile Warehouse unveiled its new look a few months back, with a new logo, a new ‘innovate, renovate, elevate’ mantra and a nice animated spot featuring its shape-shifting canine ‘tangram‘. And it stands out like dog’s bollocks in a sea of retail shoutiness.

Who’s it for: Cavalier Bremworth by Federation and Craft.

Why we like it: Natural fibres are sought after for clothes, but they often get drowned out by the synthetics industry when it comes to carpet. So it’s good to see the benefits of wool getting an airing.
