Tourism Australia lures Kiwis with 100 must-dos

Tourism Australia has released a list of 100 ‘must-do’ activities to mark Australia Day in New Zealand, in a bid to get Kiwis enthused about crossing the Tasman on their next holiday.

Experiences shared by Kiwi experts include jungle surfing in the Daintree Rainforest, Bay of Fires walking in Tasmania, teeing off on the longest golf course in the world, and getting lost in Melbourne’s lane ways. Throughout the campaign, led by OMD, Kiwis will get the opportunity to vote for their favourite experience and have a shot at winning one of four Australian holidays worth $10,000.

The final list of top picks as voted by New Zealanders will be revealed at the beginning of March, says Tourism Australia general manager New Zealand Jenny Aitken.

“Australia has long been a favourite holiday destination for New Zealanders and we really wanted to challenge Kiwis to delve a little deeper into Australia, uncover hidden gems, places, people and experiences that they may not have known about or considered yet.”
