Ranger & Rolfe bring the heat, and Special Group wins a new pitch.

Ranger & Rolfe prove they have the secret sauce

The Stuff Paper Planes competition announced Ranger & Rolfe’s work for Texas Chicken as its grand winner.

The ad was a simple yet effective as getting across the “Seriously Spicy” message for Texas Chicken which resonated with guest judge Sir John Hegarty.

“You can’t argue with Sir John Hegarty so we’ll take it,” says Rainger & Rolfe CD Chris Long. “We’re stoked, it’s an awesome result. Really happy for the Texas Chicken client in particular. And finally lots of kudos to the other creatives involved in the entry.”

Special Group announced as the new agency for Life Partners

Partners Life and Special Group have joined forces as the agency picks up the insurance account.

Partners Life is one of the quickest growing insurance companies in New Zealand as they aim to expand their services to the ‘underinsured’.

“We are very excited to be working with the team at Special who will help us evolve our brand work and continue to disrupt in our competitive insurance landscape. We were impressed by Special Group’s obvious market-leading strategic and creative thinking. They are also a proud independent company taking on the world, and that resonated with us.” says Tina Morgan, Senior Brand Manager.

“Partners Life has a unique tone of voice in a category that often doesn’t have much of one. They are also passionate and driven people and we love that.” Says Special Group Co-founder and CEO, Tony Bradbourne.

“We are delighted to be working with the wonderful team at Partners Life and couldn’t be more excited about developing a partnership, and building the brand that Kiwis trust their lives with.” Says Special Group Head of Client Service, Storm Day.

Previously Partners Life have worked with Assignment and VMLY&R.
