Sam Morgan – going once, going twice…

It would seem Sam Morgan has come full circle. Having created the runaway success that is Trademe, his very own entrepreneurial gem is auctioning him off.

In a nifty fundraising campaign employed by Oxfam to raise both funds and awareness of the Fairtrade coffee business, Morgan is one of six Kiwi celebrities to be put up for auction on Trademe. If your price is right, you could be sharing a cup of Fairtrade Joe with the likes of Robyn Malcolm, restaurateur Steve Logan, comedian Te Radar, Shortland Street’s Faye Smythe and fashionette Kate Sylvester.

Having started off slow, Morgan is now sitting at a pretty $3,010 – placing him at the top of the list.

This auction is part of Oxfam's Biggest Coffee Break. All proceeds go to Oxfam New Zealand to help struggling coffee growers work their way out of poverty.

Coffee time with Sam will take place in Wellington during Fair Trade Fortnight (May 1-16) or as near to these dates as possible.

You have approximately 72 hours and 46 minutes (to be precise) to place your bid for the chance to pick the Morgan brain.
