Ogilvy opens biggest production studio in NZ

ogilvy redworksWhat has 10 video editing suites, offers services in 3-D animation, audio production, print management, photography and artwork/photo retouching and is open 16 hours a day? It’s RedWorks, the new state-of-the-art production facility created by Ogilvy NZ.

Executive director Paul Manning (formerly in charge of OgilvyMetro) and general manager Siobhan Partington say it’s NZ’s largest studio and production facility, “pulling everything together under one roof and under one banner”. “We’re aggressively leveraging our resources and buying power to lower the cost of production, maximise accuracy and significantly reduce turnaround time,” says Manning.

RedWorks is open to any business wanting advertising production, not just Ogilvy clients. It will be competing with other smaller production companies.

RedWorks merges with the OgilvyMetro outpost in Ponsonby Auckland and moves to the agency’s Stanley St building while a new location is found. The 50-strong staff will work out of Auckland and Wellington.
