MBM named Agency of the Year at 2019 IAB New Zealand Digital Advertising Awards

The 2019 IAB New Zealand Digital Advertising Awards were held last night where MBM was named Agency of the Year and Tianze Yu, Big Mobile campaign manager, won the Grand Prix.

MBM also watched as its digital partner Alysha Delany received the Service to the Industry Award while its search/performance media specialist Campbell Jarvis received the Emerging Talent Award.

About the wins, Delany says it is a testament to the significant breadth and depth of digital capability, and the value of building a business which is able to design and deliver great digital work across the spectrum of advertising.

Big Mobile also had plenty more to celebrate with its country sales director Michael Buhagiar taking home Council Member of the Year.

Over 300 people attended the event and Gill Stewart, CEO of IAB New Zealand, says it was a record year.

“Entries more than doubled on last year, with finalists announced across 22 categories, up from 17 last year. The high calibre of entries was noted by the panel of almost 50 judges.”

The other grand awards saw S.L.I.C.E. Digital take home Digital Product of the Year and NZME receive Digital Start-Up of the Year for OneRoof.
