Loves me? Loves me not? Clemenger Group agencies lead the field at finalist stage of NZDM Awards

The finalists of the NZDM Awards have been announced, with Colenso BBDO/Proximity and justONE/.99 leading the field on 13 each and Loyalty NZ next on ten. 

DraftFCB earned seven nods, Federation and Barnes Catmur got six, Chemistry has five, Twenty has four, Clemenger BBDO, Rolfe, Unity and Pareto Fundraising have three and Saatchi & Saatchi and Massey University have two. Farmers and ANZ will fight it out for Direct Marketing Organisation of the Year. 

Entries were up 18 percent overall and there was a 14 percent increase in the number of unique entrants, including some first-timers.

“Now in their 28th year, the awards recognise work that exhibits excellence in insight-driven marketing projects and campaigns that connected with customers on an individual basis and generated outstanding results,” says Sue McCarty, chief executive of the Marketing Association. “They also allow the best and brightest new talent coming through the industry to be recognised by announcing the finalists for the New Zealand Post Student Marketer of the Year award.”

This year, students had to prepare an integrated regionalised campaign that can be delivered in Auckland and Waikato, for the new YMCA Auckland programme ‘Family Memberships’.

The creative for the call for entries was done by justONE.
