I scream, we scream for $1 scoop day

tip topThe Bay of Plenty is the country’s highest ice cream-licking region per capita, according to Tip Top sales this year. But only a teaspoon more than Nelson/Marlborough/Tasman and Manawatu/Taranaki, in second and third place, respectively.

  2. Nelson/Marlborough/Tasman – 6.31
  3. Manawatu/Taranaki – 6.28
  4. Northland –  4.66
  5. Hawkes Bay – 4.18
  6. Wellington – 3.98
  7. Canterbury – 3.92
  8. Waikato –  3.86
  9. Otago – 3.28
  10. Southland – 3.12
  11. Auckland – 2.90

In all, Kiwis have gorged on 17.1 million scoops of Tip Top ice cream in a cone in the past year.
