Who’s it for: National Bank by DraftFCB and Robber’s Dog
Why we like it: Diehard Dr Seuss fans could potentially cry into their hands at the use of ‘Oh, the places you’ll go’ in a bank ad. But bank ad fans will presumably rejoice because the first—and long-awaited—major collaboration between National Bank and DraftFCB is a good’un, refreshing the bank’s core proposition of achievement in an interesting, quirky way, maintaining some of the older brand aspects and tapping into notions of New Zealandness with this beautifully shot, fruity wee number.
Who’s it for: Anchor by Colenso BBDO and the Sweet Shop
Why we like it: It’s a milk run like you’ve never seen before. And a good way to show how Fonterra/Anchor does everything in its power to get cow juice to the people in mint condition. Excellent use of fist pumping. And, like V Pomparkour, another great music choice. Also quite enjoyable are the heroic ‘smell the fart’ print ads and billboards.
