ASB hits a high note with Universal Music Group New Zealand partnership

Universal Music Group New Zealand and ASB Bank have launched ASBmusicnz – a partnership giving ASB customers access to music experiences.

A dedicated online hub, ASBmusicnz Hub, gives access to the music experiences by allowing people to enter to win tickets or merchandise or take part in competitions.

ASB general manager marketing Shane Evans says the company is thrilled to partner with UMG.

“Music consumption is at an all-time high and while our tastes are all different, music is something that unites people of all ages and we look forward to seeing our customers make use of the exclusive opportunities ASBmusicnz will bring.”

Part of ASBmusicnz is the ‘Your Dream Gig’ project for young Kiwis, which gives all New Zealanders between 17- to 25-years-old with an ASB bank account the opportunity to work on creative projects with internationally-recognised Kiwi artists.

The first artist experience involves designing an outfit for local DJ duo, Sachi, to wear on stage at January’s Bay Dreams music festival in the Bay of Plenty.

There will be a further three opportunities to work with internationally-recognised Kiwi artists announced later this month.

Evans says the company is delighted to offer Your Dream Gig experiences to young people across New Zealand.

“We look forward to giving talented young Kiwis exclusive access to some of New Zealand’s most popular music artists,” Evans says.
