ASB brews up a solution to counter rugby fans’ upcoming hemispherical difficulties

With the Rugby World Cup about to start tomorrow morning, there are bound to be a few tired All Black fans over the next six weeks. There’s already a campaign from NZME called Push Back for Black that asks employers to go easy on rugby-loving employees. But if there’s no leeway from the boss, then ASB is ensuring Kiwis get some extra stamina through stimulants.

Featuring Maa Nonu, Aaron Smith and Dane Coles grinding up the ABS beans in unique rugby-related fashion, the campaign site says “the coffee is quick and powerful, just like the All Blacks”.

“Downing a cup of ABS is like going head-to-head with a prop. Or getting bellowed in the ear by a captain in the 79th minute. Or ending up at the bottom of a maul. Basically, it’ll keep you on your toes for every moment of the game.”

Punters who post a photo of themselves watching the All Blacks games onto Twitter or Instagram using #UpForTheGame, and tag @ASBBank go into the draw to win one of five ASB All Blacks supporter packs, but you need to do it while the game’s on.

And for those who need a free fix, there’s a countdown clock on the website that lets people know when a new batch will be delivered to ASB branches around the country.
