Alert us to weird publications, we’ll send you Saint Clair wines

At StopPress, we like nothing more than laughing at the expense of others. We also like laughing at strange publications and were recently alerted to this outstanding magazine.

The memories of time spent poring over extremely niche titles, such as Parking Review and Local Transport Today, came flooding back. Third on the list of things we like nothing more than is drinking glorious New Zealand wine. Of course, sparks always fly when these seemingly disparate elements are combined, just as they do when “hot chicks and grunters” are mixed, so send us in the name of (or, even better, a link to) the weirdest publications you’ve come across and we’ll send out three bottles of award-winning Saint Clair nectar to the three most amazing entries.

You could be wrapping your laughing gear around a bottle of Saint Clair Marlborough chardonnay 2008, a bottle of Saint Clair Pioneer Block 17 Bay Block syrah 2007 and a bottle of Saint Clair Pioneer Block 6 Oh! Block sauvignon blanc 2009, all of which took home gold medals at the Royal Easter Wine awards a few weeks back, with the 6 Oh! Block sauvignon blanc taking home the Guala Closures Trophy for the Champion sauvignon blanc at the awards.

The Pioneer Block wines are made from small parcels of outstanding fruit from specialist vineyard sites prized for their individual terroir characteristics.

Check out www.saintclair.co.nz and it’s unlikely you’ll come away from the experience without having bought yourself a case or three.
