Christchurch ad agency Harvey Cameron opened the doors of its new Merivale office last year, having—rather fortuitously, it turns out—moved away from its office in the CBD. And this is what managing director Neil Cameron had to say about the events of 22 February.
“Has been a very, very scary time. Made the September one feel like a curtain raiser. We love this city, that’s why we live here. We have had so many offers of help from everywhere and it is very much appreciated. From where I sit we are fine, but the issue that is coming at us is water and waste water. The office stood up to the beating really well again, but it is new and well built. Have to go and get more stuff done. It’s a very wild time.”
