TBWA welcomes Guy Roberts as ECD

TBWANew Zealand has hired Guy Roberts as its new executive creative director across TBWA and Eleven PR. Roberts was formerly with Saatchi & Saatchi Auckland.

Roberts is returning to his agency roots, having last worked at TBWA in 2010 followed by a stint at Droga5 then seven years at Saatchi & Saatchi Auckland.

During his career Roberts has developed well-known campaigns for Toyota and worked on Tui Brewery’s Beer Plumber and Catch a Million, ASB’s Clever Kash and Adidas All Blacks.

Shane Bradnick, chief creative officer at TBWA, says Roberts is “an absolute top human and equally a top creative talent”.

“Having been part some of the country’s most iconic work, Gus brings invaluable experience and knowledge to the Agency and our clients, as we keep pushing to make TBWANew Zealand truly world class.”

Roberts is also excited to be retuning to TBWA.

“I cant wait to get stuck in with Shane and Catherine, they’re a bloody talented duo and awesome people to boot.

“I’ve always been a firm believer in the power of TBWA’s Disruption philosophy and I’m looking forward to joining the New Zealand leadership team. Culturally, the business lives and breathes Disruption, the network is extremely well connected and the local team is incredibly plugged into culture and emerging trends.”

Roberts role as TBWANew Zealand ECD commences in July.
