Susan Carlton named Google New Zealand marketing manager

Google New Zealand has appointed Susan Carlton to the newly created position of marketing manager.

In the role, Carlton will be responsible for leading Google’s engagement with partners and the industry.

Most recently, she has held the position of industry manager for travel and entertainment within Google New Zealand, in which she was responsible for driving growth of New Zealand businesses locally and globally.

Originally hailing from Los Angeles, and a veteran of the music and entertainment industry, Carlton moved to New Zealand over a decade ago. She has worked across sales and marketing at Yahoo! NZ, MySpace and Fox Interactive Media, and Pukeko Pictures before joining Google in 2014.

About her new role, she says: “I’m so excited for this new opportunity within Google, and to further connect with our key industry partners locally. I’m looking forward to exploring new ways to bring the magic of Google to businesses throughout New Zealand.”
